The Children & Youth Ministry of Grace is grounded in Youth Development principles and practices and comprised of many diverse programs that offer the services, supports, and opportunities necessary for young people to thrive. Using a faith-based approach, the ministry works to ensure that young people are supported across all sectors of the community - school, youth serving agencies, community governance, etc. The programs include:

KIDZ SUNDAY SCHOOL  I   Sundays,  9:15 a.m.  
Advisor: Dr. Veora Layton-Robinson
For Ages: 4-11  I  9:15 a.m.
Worshipping with the Children on Sundays at 10:00 a.m.  is one of the highlights of our week!  Their excitement and enthusiasm gives us all fresh energy for the days ahead.  Please share the link with friends and family so that we may spread the love of God with even more children across America and beyond.

GRACE  BOY & CUB SCOUTS I Friday, 7:00 p.m.  
Advisor: Deacon Phil McConnell
Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts works to instill in young boys and men lifetime values of citIzenship, service, and leadership while developing an ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law.

GIRL TALK LEADERSHIP & MENTORING  
Advisor: Ms. Elisha Hinton
Girl Talk serves girls ages 7 to 17 years-old and is founded on six principles: leadership, service, commitment, creativity, respect, and inclusion. The program is designed to be a safe, judgment-free, confidential platform for girls to discuss ANY issue that they are generally not comfortable talking about with their parents/guardians. Participants also gain skills that will ultimately assist them on their journey toward womanhood, focusing on the whole person (mind, body, and spirit).

YOUTH CHURCH  I  Sundays, 12:30 p.m. 
Advisor: Dr. Veora Layton-Robinson
For Ages: 12-17  I  2:00 p.m.

GRACE GIRL SCOUTS  I  Fridays, 6:00 p.m. 
Advisor: Ms. Yvonne Brock
Girls Scouts works to: 1) develop a young girl’s potential; 2) teach young girls how to relate to others with increased understanding, skill and respect; and 3) develop a meaningful set of values to guide their actions.

YOUTH FOURM  I Fridays, 7:00 p.m.
Advisor: Nia Fears
Youth Forum provides a safe and structured Christian environment where faith-based, age appropriate experiences are designed and implemented in order to strengthen the spiritual, moral and social development of youth ages 12-18 years old.
